About This Performance

Get ready for a hilarious, thrilling, and delightfully twisted musical, Little Shop of Horrors! This cult-classic sci-fi musical by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman combines infectious rock-and-roll, outrageous comedy, romance, and a man-eating plant!

In a rundown flower shop on Skid Row, Seymour Krelborn (Joel Siemen) is a shy, down-on-his-luck floral assistant with big dreams and an even bigger crush on his coworker, Audrey Fulquard (Jenny Fischer). When Seymour discovers a mysterious plant, he names it Audrey II. But Audrey II has a secret; it craves human blood, and promises Seymour fame, fortune, and everything he’s ever wanted.

As the plant grows from a tiny curiosity into a monstrous sensation, the struggling flower shop owned by the gruff Mr. Mushnik (Stephen A. Grey) becomes a success, and Seymour finds himself thrust into the spotlight. Meanwhile, Audrey dreams of escaping her troubled relationship with the sadistic dentist Orin Scrivello (Jonas Grummet) and building a better life.

But success comes at a terrible price. As Audrey II’s appetite grows increasingly dangerous, Seymour must decide how far he’s willing to go for love, wealth, and a chance at a better life.

Guiding us through the chaos are the dynamic trio of Crystal (Ja’Leeyna Dooley), Chiffon (Lauren Guyton), and Ronnette (Zariah Williams), bringing infectious energy, soulful harmonies, and plenty of attitude.

At the center of it all is Ali Jamal as Audrey II, the foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivorous plant with dreams of world domination.

Featuring unforgettable songs, outrageous characters, and a story about the dangerous side of ambition, Little Shop of Horrors will have you laughing, cheering, and looking at your houseplants a little differently.

Come discover what happens when love, ambition, and a little bit of blood collide!

Audrey Fulquard
Jenny is honored to be able to portray Audrey! She is a creature of heart, strength, and hope. Theatre is a place where strangers become family and emotions are allowed to be celebrated and raw. It has shaped the human I am today and I am thankful for all of my experiences within these communities. There would be no time to do this if I didn't have the love and support of my husband, Josh! He is my backbone, my heart, and my forever adventure partner! Thank you, Babe! To my children, Ella, Logan, and Kade, who forgive me for missing out on some nights at home and who allow Mom to fill her bucket with the magic of theatre, Thank you! To my mom and my unwavering friends- You have never stopped believing in me and dreaming for me, even when I quit doing it myself! So, thank you! And now, a quote from the irreplaceable Dolly Parton: "Dream more, learn more, care more, and be more!"
